S.T. Cotter was awarded the East Kentucky Power Cooperative spring 2009 valve outage on their GE steam turbine. This was a competitive award and was executed seamlessly and on time and on budget.

S.T. Cotter performed a valve upgrade and generator bearing inspection for Ameren Energy’s Meredoisa Generating Facility located in Meredoisa, IL. This upgrade was performed on a 220 MW Allis Chalmers steam turbine and the outage was finished in record time.

S.T. CTS, Inc is invloved in and major inspection of a General Electric 220 MW D5 unit in Stanton, ND for Basin Electric Power Cooperitive. This is a planned outage and S.T. CTS, Inc personnel make the difference.

 S.T. CTS, Inc was awarded a firm price contract to perform a complete major inspection on American Municipal Power- Ohio RH Gorsuch Generating Station 60 MW General Electric steam turbine. A full steam path audit, steam path repair and balance of the unit was performed.

S.T. CTS, Inc was awarded the 2008 outage for American Crystal Sugar summer turbine overhaul. This unit is critical to ACS process and was also critical path in the outage. This unit was the first to be inspected in the new facility built by S.T. CTS, Inc in Clearwater, MN. The outage was a success and was completed on time and under ACS budget.

S.T. CTS, Inc was called on an emergent basis for a boiler feed pump alignment at Xcel Energy´s Allen S. King Generating Facility in Bayport, MN. This pump was critical path and was delaying startup; the pump was one of four items in a line to be aligned within .0015 of an inch and was completed in 23.5 hours. Quality trained union personnel and top notch tooling make tough projects do-able in short time frames.

S.T. Cotter Turbine Services, Inc was a critical contractor on an emergent HP IP outage on Ameren Energy´s 220MW Allis Chalmers steam turbine at the Meredosia Generating Station in Meredosia, Ill. The turbine was completely opened and inspected with new blading installed on the rotor, the entire outage was completed in 3.5 weeks.

 S.T. CTS, Inc. was awarded a firm contract on Ameren Energy's ED Edwards Generating Station to perform valve maintenance on a General Electric G2. The control and combined reheat valves were removed per the schedule and installed in less time then scheduled.

S.T. CTS, was awarded a contract to perform overhaul services on two horizontal plunger pumps with Koch Industries, discovering a problem in the process and saving the palnt thousands of dollars in the long run.

 S.T. CTS, Inc are involved in mechanical maintenance work for Xcel Energy at their Wheaton Generating facility. Xcel is valued customer and has for many years.

S.T. CTS, Inc completed a complete major and off site repair work of American Crystal Sugars 13 MW General Electric. This was a summer 2007 major outage, and was very unique as the building does not have a crane bay and both rotors had to be removed via rough terrain crane through the operating deck wall.

 S.T.  CTS, Inc was awaded as major inspection of Xcel Energy's Wilmarth Station located in Mankato, MN. This 12MW AC steam turbine was another in a long chain of well exectued projects for satisfied customers.

 S.T. CTS, Inc., was awarded a contract to perform technical inspections on Main Stop Valves for PGE's Beaver Generating Station in Clatskine, OR.  These valves are in the critical steam path for the unit and S.T. CTS's personnel was specifically requested due to industry knowledge and expertise.

 3M Austin Center contracted S.T. CTS, Inc to perform a major overhaul and governor valve repair; after an OEM modification the valve had a failure and was in need of repair. S.T. CTS, Inc in a turnkey outage removed all rotating and stationary components, inspected all and balanced the rotor to a G2 spec. The offsite repairs, balance, field service and contract management were all done with one point of contact.

S.T. CTS, Inc was awarded a firm price contract to inspect a 160 MW ABB steam turbine at the Hay Road Generating Facility in Wilmington, DE for Connectiv Energy based in Newark, DE. The entire steam path was disassembled and the generator rotor removed and shipped to Alstom Power for inspections.
